Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 28, 2026
1. Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and any profile information you provide. We also collect usage data automatically: pages visited, features used, timestamps, browser type, and device information. We do not collect sensitive personal data such as financial information, health data, or government identifiers.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide and maintain the Service, including your tracked occupations and alert preferences; improve the Service through aggregated usage analytics; send notifications you have opted into (score alerts, digest emails); and respond to support requests.
3. Cookies and Local Storage
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We may use analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings. The Service may also use local storage for preferences and cached data.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may process your data: Supabase (database hosting and authentication — your account data and tracked items), Vercel (frontend hosting and edge functions — request logs and analytics), and Google Gemini (AI analysis — processes public data signals only, not your personal data). These services have their own privacy policies.
5. Data Retention
Account data is retained as long as your account is active. Usage analytics are retained in aggregate form. If you delete your account, your personal data (email, tracked occupations, preferences) will be removed within 30 days. Aggregated, anonymized data may be retained indefinitely for research purposes.
6. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), Row Level Security (RLS) policies on the database, and secure authentication via Supabase Auth. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
7. Your Rights
You may: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data via your account settings; delete your account and associated data; export your tracked occupations and preferences; and opt out of non-essential communications at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us via the information on our About page.
8. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, and the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
10. Contact
