1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Takeover Tracker ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Takeover Tracker is a research project that produces a daily composite index estimating AI’s progress toward making white-collar work economically non-viable. The Service includes the public dashboard, historical data, occupation lookups, risk assessments, API endpoints, and any related tools or features.
3. Accounts
Some features require creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
4. Acceptable Use
You may use the Service for personal, educational, and research purposes. You may not: use the Service to mislead others about employment prospects; scrape or bulk-download data beyond reasonable API usage; attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or overload the Service; or use the Service in any way that violates applicable law.
5. Intellectual Property
The methodology, scoring formulas, source code, and original content are the intellectual property of Takeover Tracker. The underlying data from public sources (BLS, FRED, O*NET, etc.) remains subject to its original licensing. You may reference and link to our published scores with attribution.
6. Disclaimer — Not Professional Advice
The Takeover Tracker index is an experimental research tool. Scores are model-based estimates, not predictions. The Service does not constitute financial advice, career counseling, investment guidance, or employment recommendations. You should not make career, hiring, investment, or policy decisions based solely on this index. Always consult qualified professionals for such decisions.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the data or scores. In no event shall Takeover Tracker be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
8. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in that policy.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
